My relationships at Hood and my major taught me a lot about the importance of communication theory and how it relates both to work and art.

It was my mom’s suggestion. She met a young woman who had graduated from Hood. My mother was very impressed with her poise and professionalism and said I should apply.

I traveled—spent a month in South Korea, visited my sister in New Mexico, went to Disney World with my mother and nieces. I continued my college job freelance writing for The Gazette (Frederick). I later picked up another part-time job editing wedding videos.
