Sure, it’s not January, but here at Hood, Fall Semester is always the beginning of a new year! We’ve got some great events planned, including an alumni event on September 8 at The House of the Seven Gables in Salem, Massachusetts, and one on October 13 in McLean, Virginia. But the BIG event that’s right around the corner is Hood’s “Homecoming & Fall Family Weekend!” Mark your calendars for September 27-29, because we’re throwing quite a bash!

We’re so excited to have Guys In Thin Ties kick-off the weekend with a free concert Friday night at Hodson Outdoor Theater! Grab your slap bracelets, Vans, and leg warmers because it’s going to be a TOTALLY AWESOME 80s party!!

Saturday, September 28 we’ll be hosting the 2019 Hood College Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony. We’re very proud to be honoring Jane Halfen Caputo ’88, Julieta Ugaz-Pereda Theander ’95, Sara Wastler Lambert ’09, Nicolas Aldana ’14, and former athletic director Tom Dickman.
