In honor of the 125th anniversary of Hood College, the Office of Alumni Relations and the Alumni Executive Board are partnering to build a Hood for Good campaign. We are striving for 125 hours of alumni civic engagement in local and national communities. Help us reach our goal by sharing with us the community service you have taken part in, either individually or as a member of a team or group! Please submit the hours volunteered and a brief description of the event to Britton Muir, assistant director of alumni relations, at muir@hood.edu.

Do you know of a special event taking place in your town? A 5K to support a great cause, a volunteer opportunity to work in a soup kitchen, Habitat for Humanity, etc.? Would you like to rally Hood alumni in your area to support the event? You can email Britton Muir at muir@hood.edu with the details of the event, including a website for the event, if available. We will get the message out to the alumni in your city or town and encourage them to join you. Don’t forget to share photos of your experience on social media to spread the message.
